Hey Guys,

I wanted to know if the EMtron ED7 Dash or the AIM MXG 1.2 Strada will be compatible with MoTec products? I'll also be running the MoTec M130 ECU, MoTec 15 Button CAN Keypad, and the MoTec PDM30. Ideally I'd like to use the C127 however, the two options I mentioned above are more budget friendly for a 7" Display. Any advice and comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I install many AiM dashes with MoTeC ECUs, so they are compatible. The AiM M1 Template does not receive all the channels that the M1 transmits.

However the CAN flexibility on the C127 is much better than the AiM products. So for example, it would be possible to receive M1 data on CAN1 on the AiM, and PDM data on CAN2 (which could be connected to the same bus), you could not easily handle any more CAN devcies (like the LTC you will probably have). The C127 would do that without breaking a sweat. The Shift Light and Alarms on the MoTeC dash are far superior as well. With a C127 it would be possible to do more things with the keypad (like use a pair of buttons to simulate a multi-position knob) into the M1 as you can manipulate things in the C127 then send them over CAN to the M1.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
