Hello, I am renovatimg and rebuilding engine from škoda 1202.

The engine is in relatively good condition as far as I revised it. It sat for about 40 years. The crankshaft snapped - these engines have the problem of mounting crankshaft on only 3 points while it is 4 cylinder. There was some metalic debri, but it seems it was just the crankshaft.

I would appriciate any recommendations and tips for this project. I plan to do balancing and blueprinting as far as I will be capable of. F.e. as per the manufacturer the pistons were balanced down to 1g, but i want to take it to 0.1g because it should bring down the stress to the new crankshaft.

What would you recommend/do?

Thank you in dvance for your help!
