Any guidance for block filling? I want to half fill my block.

Hello there is a lot of different ways to do this my favorite is to use layers of baking soda or salt between layers of block filler

i do a layer of filler about 10-15 mm thick the 10mm of salt etc then another layer of filler allow plenty of time for it to cure between layers then i drill holes approx to open the water galleries up again. then do all machining and then wash out the baking soda/salt. This has served me well for many years

If you are straight drag racing you can just fill 2/3 of the block or more but make sure any machining that needs doing has to be done after the filler has fully set
