I have replicated and built my own fixture with a 3D printer which is replicating weight very well.

I have also measured my con rod clearances and added my bearings.

I noticed that in the instructional video you have no bearings.

My first question is, can I balance and weigh the con rods with the bearing that will be in the rod?

My thinking is that this will ultimately be the final weight of the con rod including the fastener grease (only inside the rod on the threads of the bolts). Or is this introducing undesirable variables?

My second question is, do you have a recommendation for the linisher belt grit and type?

Hello i recommend using a 400 grit emery type taking small amounts off per time to keep the rod as cool as possible the finer the better
