At around 52:30 of the step 7: short block assembly video for the LS worked example, you talk about getting.004" of thrust clearance, but I am only seeing .002" on my iron block 5.3L. I've tried readjusting the center main cap and only with the top cap fully loose or off, I have .004" thrust clearance. But as soon as I put the cap on even without torquing, I am getting .0015" to .002" of clearance. What are my options for getting the appropriate clearance? This will be a manual car with decent power and torque so the clutch load will be fairly high, though I haven't selected a specific clutch yet for the build.
Thanks in advance
