Hi. I am busy with a 1jz gte vvti swap into a 1989 toyota cressida gli6 (x70 1G-GE(if I am 100% correct)) and need some help.

The car had the 1jz swap in but was it was stock and had a terrible management system which the tuner installed and did a hack job of the wiring. I took the engine out and did some upgrades and is reinstalling it with a Haltech elite 2000.

I need advice or a pin out or diagram or something for the wiring to the cars loom for the tacho oil pressure switch water temp alternator and so on to get everything working. I would also appreciate it if someone could give me advice to wire everything up as this is my first loom I am doing and would like to do a good job.

Thanks in advance.

G'day Jan.

You're going to need to find a factory service manual for the car. That will be your best bet for reliable information on how the factory systems are setup, so you can replicate those parts of it in your design and get the original gauge functionality back.
