So as I am rebuilding my whole OEM loom (SR20DET - Nissan S14a JDM) I am deleting un-needed sections (MAF, power igniter, ABS, etc) and adding sensors like CAIT, Water temp, boost solenoid, etc.
However, I'd like to reduce the number of sub looms by wiring my coil packs (converted to R8 coils) and injectors directly to the ECU (ECU Master Black if that matters).
What are the disadvantages of removing sub-looms? Apart from more work if I need to disconnect it all. I just think it will make the look more aesthetic and easier to work with.
