Hi everyone I'm looking for a supplier of cost effective wire for smaller orders of less that 100m MOQ

While tefzal is available txl isn't really FLR6Y is basically the equivalent and is pretty hard to find

I've seen people say FLRY B is fine but is it really 105 degree temp rating ?

I want to use it for an engine loom and sub looms for coil packs but i want a proper rated wire

I find it hard to understand how a lot of wiring harness company's can make coilpack conversion kits so cheaply without using PVC or something

Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍

hello there,

You're right RS components sell it in 100m spools but if you're after smaller amounts have you tried private aviation supply companies?

Mendelssohn Pilot Supply or Air Store might be able to help you out...

Tefzel insulation like most high-end motorsport, well anything basically, comes from the Aerospace industry - a bit of a pro tip is to always check the source industry if you can't find it easily enough and it usually doesn't have motorsport tax applied.

you could try www.cable-engineer.nl, this is where i order most of my stuff. He has got the FLRY B, which is great for the places where it doesnt get hot. they also have Raychem ETFE T6 cable, rated to 200+ C. Or the TE ACW, which is rated to 150 C.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
