Im struggling to find all the main sensor pinouts that i need. How would you go about working them out? I can find lots of info on the stock ecu plug side, but nothing on the actual sensor side, and the stock ecu and plugs etc are long gone so i don't have much to go off. bmw e46 m54b25

Generally speaking, with most sensors, you will have a signal wire, a ground and a power wire. These can be worked out easily with a multimeter. First, find your ground. You can find power depending on how the car is set up, sometimes you only need the key on ignition, other times the vehicle started. Try workshop manuals of your vehicle, given its an E series I would say there are plenty around. Worst case, google what sensors they used.
