Since you are giving wire lengts in mm why not wire diameters in sq mm as well over here in the netherlands i can't get the gauge size wiring and i have no calculation tool
The reason we use AWG is because that is how TXL and Tefzel wire is sold. Here's a nice chart that shows you wire gauge vs cross sectional area for your reference - https://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm
