I am looking for suggestions on what to use as a distribution point for the battery main power feed to my high current loads. I am planning a 1/0 feed from my mid-mounted battery (frame rail of the truck) to my starter through a 250 A breaker.

Can I use the starter stud as a distribution point? Does anyone have another recommendation for a high current distribution point?

What is recommended for circuit protection for the lower gauge branch feeds? I am planning #2 to my solid state relay blocks, which is a stretch for a 250 A breaker. I don't see specifc
