Hi,

I have an M150 installed on my 1JZ VVTi, and i used to run it on 36 2 missing teeth and it cranked all good and worked fine, but when I switched it to the 2JZ GE Ref config and have now the Sync config in the Inlet Camshaft Bank 1 and the car isn’t running at all, configured the Offset and everything and the capture looks good but the engine is not running.

Anyone has had this issue from before or anyone have a file that has the right configuration in it?

What changes have been made to require the change of the Reference Mode in use?

What errors are being reported by the following channels;

Engine Speed Reference State

Engine Speed Reference Diagnostic

Engine Sync Position Diagnostic

Engine Sync Pin Diag

Can you post the Input Capture.

Because it is a VVTi all the Sync settings are changed to be adjusted in the Cam Control Inlet workbook.

Engine Speed Reference State: Cycle Locked

Engine Speed Reference Diagnostic: OK

There is no Sync position it is now on Inlet Camshaft Bank 1 Position Diagnostic which is also OK

Inlet Camshaft Bank 1 Pin Diag: At first it is Missed Trigger, and then gives OK, and after Engine Speed Reference stat is Locked it gives Rejected Pulse.

I have attached a Capture, didn't end will as I'm having loud bangs from the exhaust, along with a Data log aaand the File.

I have changed the Hysteresis values for the Reference and Inlet pins, I have also set the Reference Offset to the recommended value, you had 150° which is 370° out from the recommended starting point of 520°. This disparity could explain the back firing from the exhaust.
