Hi everyone, I'm struggling to work out my trigger for my 1mzfe 3L v6 using a ecumaster emu black. I used the scope feature and found that the crank is 36-2 and cam is a single tooth. However after using a timing light to set trigger tooth (23) and the angle, the car wouldn't start. We later tried trigger tooth 21 and with cam sync turned off it fired straight up and sounded really good. So we changed the trigger tooth back to 23 as per we saw with a timing light and it wouldnt start still. We tried using a timing light with the trigger tooth set as 21 and we couldnt see the timing mark which seemed strange (Roughly idling at 1.5k rpm). Not really sure whats happening with it and why cam sync turned off allows the car to start. I'm a novice so any help is appreciated. Thanks
