Hi,

I'm a novice, doing initial startup on a new ECU installation. Following the 10 step process, stuck at step 5. The car starts, it needs a fair bit of throttle to stay running and it's struggling under 1700rpm. The data log I took shows AFR readings going immediately to around 20, varying only by small amounts and not dropping. The target AFRs are at or close to 14.7 or slightly richer. There was a strong smell of fuel after it was shut down, so definitely too much fuel being supplied.

The AEM wideband presets in TS did not match the controller from the first time the car was powered up. The contoller was reading just over 20 for AFR when checked in pre-start checks. I gather that is about right. I used custom values to calibrate the TS guages with the controller guage. So before the first start TS AFR and the controller's AFR were matching up.

I gather my wiring has some sort of issue. Would the most likely culprit be a voltage drop to the ecu? Any suggestions on troubleshooting the cause would be appreciated.
