Hi all,

I've been working on tuning one of my first projects and the build is as follows:

Fully built 4b11t 2.0

PTE 7275 next gen

Running on ethanol only (flex table is not used, just main table)

ID1050X primaries

ID2000 secondaries

I was working on the wastegate map which is ~27psi of boost. I believe I have the timing relatively mild for this build, but I am seeing a decent amount of noise from the knock sensor. What confuses me is that the previous tuner of this vehicle had significantly more aggressive timing, but the knock sensor was way quieter. I'm not sure what could be causing this. I have synced the timing correctly. I''m going to include 2 sessions and log files. One of which will be the mild gate tune, and other other is a much more aggressive tune, but somehow is much quieter around the knock sensor. Some more things to note: We are tuning on the street with no dyno, and I have no real audio knock detection equipment. This is a hood exit drag car and it's pretty tough to hear anything regardless. I know there are some things I still need to finish up in the "wot4.itssn" map such as making a dynamic noise floor. My main question is how can this tune with 27psi and way more mild timing be noisier than the tune running 48psi and much more aggressive timing? It's making me doubt my tune.
