I came across tuning the 1GFE engine on standa alone ECU. The engine has forged internals, there's G25-660 turbocharger on long runner 6-1 exhaust manifold. 730cc injectors, and aftermarket FPR with fuel return line to the tank.

There's something unusuall happening during the fuel calibrating. The engine is happy to see high VE Values such as 100-105% in the negative pressure zones like 3-4k rpm (short ratio gearbox makes those values as highway cruise RPM) 60-100kpa maintainnig desired lambda of ~1 in area up to 80 KPa and 0,9 around the transition zones ~100KPa. Under boost (1-1,5 bar of possitive pressure) it tends to lower the VE values to arrounds of 90-95%and it chase the target well aiming for 0,76 lambda.

Is there anything to be woried about? Where to chase the problem solution?

For future reference… I resolved this unusual situation a long time ago, but I forgot to mention it. The car delivered had an incorrect fuel pressure compensation setting relative to the fuel system specifications. The car was fitted with a fuel pressure regulator (FPR), but fuel pressure compensation had not been set in the fuel system settings. A fixed fuel supply at a strictly set and constant pressure of 300 kPa was simply used, even though the car was fitted with a fuel pressure sensor and a regulator. Changing this configuration to the fuel pressure sensor mode, or simply to calculations based on MAP sensor readings, allowed us to achieve a reasonable VE MAP.
