Hello,

I have Nissan 200sx s13 with RB25DET skyline enigne :

ECU ecumaster classic - fuel petrol, with a 98 octane

I have one problem, about when I create ignition angle with one is the best ?

I mean - 19.5 , 20 , 20.5 ? Every engine they need the same ignition angle ? This is the same rules ?

AFR and boost is easy to creat, the most problematik for me is ignition angle, may somone they have experience?

Because I have also 3 x 200sx s14A with 2JZ-GTE ENGINE big spec, and I don't wanna blown up this 4 x engine. May this is not good idea, but it's fan and new experience for me

Also one more question :

What is the best AFR for turbo engine ? 11,3 ? fuel petrol, with a 98 octane

Also if someone they have 2jz engine, please put the log, this will be also help me for understand

Hi Karol, there is no 'best' ignition angle. The correct timing will depend on your fuel, compression ratio, and about a thousand other parameters. It is also a constantly moving target as it depends on rpm and load. This is explained in detail in our EFI Tuning Fundamentals course, along with a practical demonstration showing how to use a dyno to fid it.

Likewise, there's no 'perfect AFR'. Generally on pump gas a turbo engine will probably want to be somewhere in the 11.5-12.2:1 vicinity but you need to test on the dyno to find what works best for you. Our Understanding AFR course explains the process of finding the optimal AFR for a given engine.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
