It is genuinely a privilege to be here.
I am an amateur enthusiast in the early days of tuning the car:
08 JDM Ver 11 STi
Crawford S3L-H 2.5L shortblock
JDM 2.0L heads with TGV deletes and mild porting
short ram intake
decatted
Still has the VF49
TMIC now a Mishimoto unit
LM450L60 and 1200cc injectors to be installed once the base tune is established
The factory front and rear sensors are in place
Also PLX wideband, post turbo.
While scaling the MAF in the the worked example, Andre mentioned that in my case I should also log A/F Correction #3.
I notice that A/F Correction #3 makes a significant (+/- 2.5%) contribution to the total trims on its own and that there is also a A/F learning #3 (not discussed in the course) which I haven't yet logged.
I am concerned that the front and rear sensors are both making contributions to the total trim even though they are seeing the same gas composition in the absence of a Cat. Is this why you disabled the rear O2 sensor on "your" car?
Should I just do the same?
Thanks!!
