I am balancing my con rods as the title says, but my big end is too large for the bearing that sits on the scale. The bottom of the big end is contacting the bottom of the bearing support before it is able to rest on the bearing, making the whole stand useless. So, Will it cause any issues if I remove the bearing and set the piston directly on the scale while making sure it is both level and the small end support is parallel with the support shaft?
