My Question is regarding LAMBDA Control. If I am Planning on running Snow Methanol Injection and potentially a progressive direct Nitrous system in future for a Fully built EJ257, do I need to use a 15002LL MOTEC PRO LAMBDA METER KIT WITH NTK (PLM) or is it fine to use the normal LSU4.9 Bosch kit?

Why use the NTK over the LSU4.9 and when is the LSU4.9 not suitable I guess is the question. Thanks for any help!

Hi Daniel,

The PLM units are no longer available.

If you are running on Methanol as the main fuel then the NTK is the recommended sensor, as they have the ability to read to 0.5 lambda (but the error curve widens at this lambda) whereas the Bosch units read to 0.65. If you are running on petrol or ethanol then either sensor can be used.

Thanks!
